Follow Shield AI on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.  Job Description: As an Aerodynamics and Performance Engineer, you will work across disciplines to enable aircraft design, build, test, and flight. This role will lead aerodynamics and performance engineering for V-BAT. In this capacity, you will create aerodynamics models for V-BAT configurations, work across teams to analyze flight test data, and determine methods to improve aircraft performance. In addition, you may contribute to aircraft conceptual and aerodynamic design for future unmanned air vehicle concepts. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience on an aircraft program that is flying or has flown, along with experience generating aerodynamic models, especially using flight test data. Ability to work across teams is crucial, as this role will regularly interface with leadership, flight test engineers, GNC engineers, propulsion engineers, and customer support.
