Job Overview
What You’ll Do:
- Inspection and Testing: Perform inspections and tests on battery modules or components to ensure they meet all quality standards and specifications.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document non-conformances, and work with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Compliance: Ensure all quality control activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Who You Are:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in quality control, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or battery industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of inspection and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and specialized battery testing tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and documenting results.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey quality-related information to team members and management.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components and delicate inspection tools.
- Capacity to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Hours:
This role is assigned to Shift 2 / standard hours (4:00pm - 12:30am) , and the shift schedule is subject to change.
