Modeling & Simulation Software Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

Hermeus is a high-speed aircraft manufacturer focused on the rapid design, build, and test of high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft for the national interest. Working directly with the Department of Defense, Hermeus delivers capabilities that will ensure that our nation, and our allies, maintain an asymmetric advantage over any and all potential adversaries. As a Modeling & Simulation Software Engineering Intern you will work with the software team to develop performant modeling and simulation code for our 6DOF SITL simulation using Julia. You'll Interface with the Flight Software, HMI, and Flight Sciences teams to meet stakeholder needs and ensure accurate results. Your work will involve creating hardware/physics informed software models and validate results with real data.  Summer: around 10 weeks (May - August)
