Mission

Design the mechanical components of the system, focusing on pumps, valves, and pressure vessel. Build components that are reliable, efficient, and designed for diverse environments and use cases.

What You'll Do

  • Own consumer hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production and public launch.

  • Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and drive system-level optimization.

  • Test and iterate on products to ensure high reliability and performance in all environments and use cases.

  • Design and develop production lines for manufacturing your product, including robot end effector design, process development, control system design, automation programming, and more.

  • Refine production systems to achieve high-rate, high-yield, and reliable manufacturing processes.

  • Establish an efficient product lifecycle, from supply chain to final integration, balancing cost, complexity, and quality.

  • Collaborate with partner teams to design and implement efficient in-house production lines.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.

  • Proficiency in CAD and FEA software packages.

  • 1+ years of professional experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing (internship experience included).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing or consumer hardware production.

  • Knowledge of pumps, valves or other mechanical components

  • Knowledge of automation programming and process development.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.

  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and drive projects to completion.

Physical Job Requirements - Essential Functions

  • Hands on work on development hardware.

  • Long periods of standing, crouching, walking.

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
