We are seeking a materials engineer to join the Advanced Materials and Processes team. This role is part of a cross-functional team responsible for leading the development of new materials and processes from initial conceptualization through low-rate initial production. It requires that the team member develop an intimate understanding of the aircraft system requirements to effectively develop and implement materials and/or processes that solve for the goals of the business. The candidate should have deep experience in the materials and processes used to manufacture one or more of the following systems, aircraft structures, electric propulsion systems, electric generators or high voltage batteries. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the development of new materials and process technologies.   As a member of the Advanced Materials and Processes team, you will collaborate with a broad range of team members to deliver new technologies that will enable Beta to achieve profitable full rate production.
