About the Role:

The Development Technician supports engineering teams in building, testing, and refining prototypes and new production processes. This hands-on role provides critical feedback to engineers and ensures hardware is built to spec during development phases. This is an exciting role in a fast-paced startup environment with a team dedicated to bringing enrichment back to US soil.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble prototype hardware and test setups.

  • Provide feedback on design manufacturability.

  • Maintain lab/shop equipment.

  • Support root cause investigations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in technician or development support role.

  • Skilled with mechanical/electrical assembly tools.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.

  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Aerospace/automotive prototype build experience.

  • Familiarity with test instrumentation.

  • Knowledge of Lean/Kaizen principles.

  • Cross-functional assembly experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay range:

$25.00-$40.00/hour

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
